Everything Is Not Gonna Be Okay, But That’s Life.

I’m the one who does not believe that everything that goes through our life would be okay. For some reason, this is how it works. Life made us into two different parts or sections.

Black and white.

Sad and happy.

Gaining and losing.

There is no in-between. There is no gray, flat, or just a steady normal life.

And you cannot choose this option either. All of these options are the outcome of how you choose to cope with every situation.

But, that’s fine.

Like our parents used to say, life isn’t a race.

Even when life is a race, we are all ‘driving’ different cars. Someone get to the finish line first but they drove the Ferrari or Mercedes, while we came last with that slowly-lot of problems car (like Mazepin’s and Gasly’s, eh?).

In the end, you still make it through the finish line with a heavy burden on your shoulders. Once again, that’s fine. You’ve done everything you could, and that's the most matter.

For someone — especially the one who I care about — I make no promises that life is gonna be okay. But I pray (all the time) that you will have the courage, strength, and will to choose what you feel is your better option. And god knows that you deserve more than just happiness.

While I wrote this, I found a prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr called “The Serenity Prayer” quoted as:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

I hope you are doing well.
